Here's the deal....just blew a tire on an 04 grand cherokee...tires are 50-60% tread. Is it necessary to keep the tires matching so they are all exactly the same size? Or could I just replace 2 of them with new ones? ( same tire size of course) I know there are variances in different brands of tires. It is the 4.0 with the selec trac. I am asking because I had an 02 chevy pickup with the auto 4x4 and took out a t case because I had one tire replaced. I discovered later the the tire ( which was the same size265/70) was almost an inch taller than the other 3. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Anyone selling a nice set of 235/65/17s might also be appreciated

Thanks
