I've never been up there before and would like someone to show me around a bit. If I get then odds and ends on my rig worked out by that time would you mind if a trailered Chevy tagged along?

Yeah, no problem. 96ZJ has been down there several times and we've been there once so we at least have a feeling for what it has to offer. We'll probably leave sat. morning and wheel the rest of the day and then wheel sunday as well and drive back mon.

Hey Slimpee, this is really off topic but you wouldn't happen to have joined RVOR in like May and went to D.C. for the summer would ya? If so, I'm one of the younger guys you talked to that was passing around pics of an orange K5 on boggers.
Also, any places you are planning on wheeling that a fullsize would be too wide? My rig is narrowed in back ~ 20" but the front hasn't been chopped yet.

Yep, that's me. Good memory. You have a nice rig, as I recall. I keep missing meetings due to one thing or another but i'd like to get to one soon. As for your second question there's always the risk of body damage to a full-size but i don't recall anywhere we went that was especially narrow. But then again, i've only been there twice so i'm certainly not the best judge... |

There is some tight spots but if you have a very good spotter and not to worried about some damage you'll be fine. I wheel a ZR2, in fact it impressed quite a few jeepers up there last weekend.. Oh ya, Rod ( Scrambled)what in gods name where you thinking going thru that lake on sunday?

Body damage isn't a concern, I was more worried about full width axles. If the tires fit through, the sheetmetal is self clearancing.
Slimpee...I'm in school in SD at the moment so I doubt I'll make a meeting before christmas, that also means I need to find a spare 39.5" tire and find someone who can weld sheetmetal on the weekends before the 22nd. I don't have beadlocks or OBA yet and my wheel tubs are in my attic. ![]() Are you gonna camp at the site or head into town for a motel?
